Chipotle's Boorito!

Chipotle is my favorite "fast food" restaurant, ever.  I am a Mexican food-aholic.  If you ask me what I want to eat, chances are, I'll opt for tortilla filled with goodness!

People have a tendency to complain that Chipotle is on the pricy side.  Seven dollars for a burrito!? Yes, people.  It's totally worth it, and chances are, you are probably spending the same money at Taco Bell for that burrito you get there.  Chipotle's burritos just happen to be slightly healthier because they actually use real ingredients.

Okay, this isn't supposed to be an advertisement for how Chipotle makes their food, but rather their Halloween event, Boorito!  I found out about this last year and totally had to do it.

I dressed up as a witch, my go-to costume for the past three years and the boyfriend wore his Home Depot uniform (he no longer works there, but he did!).  The line was a LOT longer than usual, but Chipotle burritos are always worth the wait.  Things got even more interesting when I had to wait in line twice because my friend who was supposed to meet us there was late!

Basically, if you dress up and go to Chipotle on Halloween, you can get a burrito for $3! That is half the price of what it usually is!  Yes, last year it was $2, but this year, the proceeds will be going to a good cause.  All proceeds up to $1,000,000 will benefit the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation.

The Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to creating a more sustainable and healthful food supply while raising awareness independent family farms,  animal welfare and environment, and food, cooking, and nutrition education.  All very important issues!

Hopefully you get a chance to make your way to Chipotle this Halloween.  I will definitely be there!  Who can pass up a $3 burrito?
