It's that time of the week again. You know, that time where you gather up all your clothes and spend the day trying to get them clean. I hate that day and I'm quite known for putting it off, until I have no more
underwear clothes to wear.
Right now, ALL of my clothes are clean, except for what I'm wearing right now, obviously and they are all piled on my floor or on my chair. That can't be sanitary, can it?
Here are five reasons why I cannot stand doing laundry and I would love for it to disappear for forever.
1. There is always JUST BARELY too much for it to fit in one load.
I have no idea how this happens. Maybe it's because I wear like two or three shirts a day? Either way, I always have to do an extra load for no reason and it's really annoying. Sometimes, I put this extra load off until the next week, but then I don't have those clothes to wear for a whole nother week!
2. Clothes that need to be washed a special way.
The ABSOLUTELY worst thing about clothes is when you find that perfect top, then when you get home, you read the label and it says to "Machine Wash Cold. Do Not Tumble Dry. Do Not Iron. Line Dry." For serious? I'm the type of person who likes to do things the same way, over and over. I don't want to have to worry about taking certain shirts out before I throw everything in the dryer, or worse, make a whole seperate load for these clothes. Which brings me to my next point...
3. Sorting.
It's said that you are supposed to sort your clothes. Lights, Darks, Denim, Delicates. Etc. I don't think I have EVERRR done this. I just take my clothes and dump them all in the washer. It's simpler that way and a lot less time consuming.
4. Folding.
Luckily, I have a system where I pretty much only fold pants, which isn't too bad. Shirts? They all get hung up. Matching socks? Forget it. I purposely wear unmatching socks anyways!
5. Hanging up my shirts.
This has to be my all time least favorite part of laundry, which is why all of my clothes are in a mountain on my floor at the moment. I can't stand it. I never have enough coat hangers and the chore is so meticulous it drives me crazy. It should not take 30-60 minutes to put a pile of shirts away!

I like doing laundry. I like having it all clean and organized when it's all done. I just hate lugging it all up and down the stairs in my building.
My least favorite chores are doing the dishes and taking out the trash. I'm leaving those chores to my future husband.
I don't mind actually doing laundry, but it's the getting it out of the dryer and actually putting it up that I despise.
I swear my laundry would sit in the dryer for weeks if I didn't live with my parents, lol.
