On The Brightside!

Things happen and when they do, you have a choice.  You can either let them ruin your day, or you can look on the brightside of things.  My day has already had it's ups and downs and I've only been awake for 3 hours, but I'm not going to let it get to me!  I'm making the choice to stay positive and keep looking for the brightside.

>> T-Mobile never tells me when my bill is due.

On The Brightside! I get this nifty text that says my service has been deactivated.  I had set it up so the payment is taken automatically, but that hasn't happened for months.  Ugh.

>> I ran out of deodorant this morning.

On The Brightside! I remembered that my boyfriend bought me two the last time this happened.  Thanks, babycakes!

>> The pants I wanted to wear to the gym disappeared.

On The Brightside! The shorts that I ended up wearing didn't constantly ride up like they usually do.

>> My shampoo costs an arm and a leg.

On The Brightside! My hair has never felt better.  I can go days without washing and it doesn't look completely awful like it used to when I was a die-hard Aussie user.  I could barely go two days without washing my hair then.  Now I've been averaging 3-4, so I guess the lack of constant washing makes up for the price difference.

>> Today is my long day at school.

On The Brightside!  My favorite teacher should be back from Chicago!

>> The number on the scale isn't what I would like it to be.

On The Brightside!  I apparently look as if I have lost weight.  Thanks lady at the gym for pointing out that my face is less chubby.

>> My grandma goes back home on Friday.

On The Brightside! I got to spend a lot of time with her while she was here.

>> It took me 20 minutes to find a parking spot.

On The Brightside! I wasn't late to class.

How has  your week been?

I love this post because it takes the crappy situations, and makes it optimistic.

I'm super positive and love it when people can find the best out of any situation....the little things are what counts. Love the post.

I just read the in a relationship people feel generally happy when the ratio of happy to bad interactions with the other person is 5:1! I think it has to be so high because we focus so much on the negative. Long story short, I love your post because you took things that could drive me nuts and made them ok! I would have fumed about the parking spot too, but it does help to remember that you were not late! No harm done :) Hope you have an equally bright weekend!
