I Accidentally Bought a Song

Did you know that you can download some songs from Amazon for free? I didn't realize this until about a month ago, but downloading music onto an iPod from Amazon isn't allowed.  I was forced to wait.

I was trying to think of something to do last night and then I remembered about the free songs.  There are so many! I didn't even realize. Mind you, most of them aren't very good, unless you are really into indie music, but there are a few gems hidden amongst the rubble.

The main reason I wanted to sift through some of these songs, was because I noticed a few were by Hawthorne Heights. Probably not most people's cup of tea, being a hardcore screamo band, but the songs reminded me of some of my friends in high school, so I wanted to get them.

However, this post is not about Hawthorne Heights or any of the free songs I decided to download.

This post is about a song called "Put Your Gun Down" by ZZ Ward. I put the video at the beginning of this post so you all could hear it.

I kind of got tired of listening to all of the previews and googled "best free amazon songs." Someone had mentioned "Put Your Gun Down" so I went to listen to it.  It sounded okay from the preview, but I wanted to hear all of it, so I bought it.  Right after I clicked the button to buy the song, I realized it wasn't free.

On the brightside, I actually kind of like the song, but I'm still bummed that I spent a dollar on something that I didn't plan on buying.

Have you ever accidentally bought something like this?
